On October 1st, at 9:30 pm, the guitaristHenrique Fraga, accompanied byJoão Teixeiraon classical guitar, takes the stage of Teatro Municipal de Vila Real, for the opening of what will be the return to the city of the Festival“Guitar Point”- Guitar Festival in Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, with the artistic direction of Paulo Vaz de Carvalho.
In this concert Henrique Fraga assumes himself as one of the main interpreters of the Paredes family's work today – the most iconic ever composed for the Guitarra de Coimbra – and also as an author, including in the presentation some of his original themes. The show will have a special tone of tribute to Doctor Manuel Vaz de Carvalho, also a guitarist and famous lawyer from Trás-os-Montes.
The Festival“Guitar Point”which has welcomed numerous nationally and internationally renowned guitarists and now continues with its sixth edition, which will also receive the prestigious Argentine guitarist Roberto Aussel, as well as the extraordinary Quintetango project by the Portuguese guitarist André Madeira.
